Best Canned Seafood in the World

In a year that has challenged the entire seafood industry, Los Peperetes has reached new heights by being named the World’s Best Canned Seafood for our Garlic Razor Clams by the prestigious “World’s 101 Best Canned Fish”, which focuses on evaluating and ranking the best canned fish and seafood products from leading producers worldwide.

About the ranking

The ranking was compiled following the methodology of The World’s 101 Best Steak Restaurants, an internationally recognised benchmark in the culinary world. Tastings and evaluations were carried out by an esteemed panel of judges made up of culinary experts, restaurateurs, food critics, and Michelin-starred chefs.

In recent years, Spanish conserva producers have earned a leading position for quality, flavour, and design, making their prominence at the top of international rankings no surprise. Producers in neighbouring Portugal — where tinned fish is considered almost a national treasure — also demonstrate remarkable strengths, although production volume can at times take precedence over refinement and consistency.
