We receive the sardines that were caught during the night very early in the morning.
Once at our facility, we meticulously cut and clean them by hand, and then steam-cure them to ensure they achieve the proper firmness and do not break apart. They are then manually placed into the can, taking care to ensure an impeccable presentation that showcases the sardine’s characteristic silvery color.
To best preserve the flavor and texture of the canned sardines, we use the highest quality olive oil as the covering liquid.
